The first Korean skincare I started with is IOPE Moistgen. At that time my skin was free from blemish but boy oh boy, I looked dull and pale back then. I was pretty much ignorant and also couldn't afford luxury time for myself since I got 3 small kids ranging from a newborn to a school going child. I couldn't even get to do my toilet-business in peace, let alone trying to have a long shower+mini-facial time in the bathroom. I always gave excuses to myself that it's not doable. Well, since my sister knocked some sense into me about taking care of one self, I started to be creative on when and where I can start applying all those skin tonics. I got their sample set and used the whole set.
The kit consists of:
Softener (like a toner)
Emulsion
Serum
Eye cream
Cream
Back then, even the thought of having to use only this 5 items sounds like a lot to me. But my routine has now go to at least double that. For a (relatively skincare virgin) dry dull skin, these 5 items was a heaven sent. I was super amazed to see how my skin plump up and looks much better (read hydrated) just from a basic application. I became super excited and keep using it until the set is pretty much finished (which is about 3 weeks and my skincare fixation pretty much started since then as about 2 weeks after I started this set, I went crazy with stocking up skincare because of Laneige warehouse sale).
Scent wise, there is a light fragrance which can be good if you like a good smell on your skin but it can also be irritating to some. Luckily for me it didn't break me out or anything.
Verdict:-
Pro: For a dry mature skin, this is a good hydrating basic skincare range that will keep your skin mosturized and dewy
Cons: The scent can be a put off to those with super sensitive nose
